Disneyland Paris - Secondary thread

If a school or other group is taking secondary age children Year 7 to Disneyland Paris would you think allowing the children to round in groups of four without an adult was a good idea?

They would have a 'session' to prepare them and either the group or the individuals would have mobile phone.

I'm posting in secondary and primary because primary seems to get more 'traffic' but secondary is the actual age.

I haven't been to Legoland since it changed from being Windsor Safari Park. Paultons does have quite a bit of green space which is undeveloped, so maybe the actual theme park bit is smaller.
DLP is pretty compact though, but much more crowded than PP.

It's the crowds I worry about it!

I do think that the crowds could be a bit overwhelming for a less confident 11 year old. We went in August though, so depending on when the trip is it could be less busy.

I think it is quite a safe place, and they shouldn't have loads of valuables on them, and there are lots of park staff around, but if someone isn't used to the crowds then I could see it could be a bit stressful.

My DD2 was nearly 10 when we went. We did leave her on her own at one point at a children's play area (which wasn't very busy) while the rest of us went on Thunder Mountain. We felt safe doing it, and she was happy enough.

My dd is possibly on the Autistic spectrum or possibly has ADD or ADHD and I think this means that some things which other kids take for granted as OK, she finds hard. BUT we do not know for sure that she is on the Autistic spectrum or has ADD or ADHD and so these things may not be relevant! But whether or not she is the Autistic spectrum/ADD/ADHD she has some of these behavioural traits and it is that, I think, that makes it harder for me. I also feel that I need to justify to the organisation why I feel this way (but not reveal the possibilities as it is not confirmed yet!) and yet of all the people I have spoken to in real life about this, about 7, the majority have said they also would feel concerned!

We are hoping for some clarity this summer at a meeting with specialists.
