Surrey grammar schools - best place to live?

We are considering a move to Surrey (Croydon area) to TRY and get our DS and DD into one of the grammars. I've looked at catchments and I am a bit confused as to best place to live as we have one of each. Can anyone help? Thanks!

We live in lb of Croydon and dcs go to grammars in Wallington. Ds's school has no catchment (at least when he sat the test). Dd's has some places with no catchment, then more places within certain catchments. I suggest you look at the school websites. There is also an eleven plus website with forums for each area/county.
