Secondary school (class selection process)

My DD has been offered a place a prominent catholic secondary in Croydon. We received our welcome pack from the school over the weekend. Whilst going through the welcome, I realised there is a section that ask if you have objection to your child being in a class with any particular student that you can write to the Head of the Year with the list of the names of these students.

I am not quite sure how to approach or whether or not I should even response. It is optional but I know of a few children who aer in my DD class that are a total nightmare and I would also like my DD to form new cliche of friends. If I do write to them, any ideas of what I can include in the letter? How should I word the letter if I decide to opt for this?
Any views or opinions? All comments are welcome. Confused

If my child had been bullied by another I would write.

If there was a child who was a total pain that my DD had put up with for the past 7 years, I would maybe write, but not so strongly, as in if possible to give a break from. On the other hand, better the devil you know ...

Do you know what the policy is anyway, how many forms per year?

At DD1's school they split up the pupils from primaries so only a few in each class anyway. They get a chance in y6 to write names of people they would like to be with, and y6 teachers give input too I believe.
