Thermals that will go under girl's open neck blouse. Do they exist?

DD1 is COLD at school. Her uniform is a white open necked (revere collar) blouse. Not allowed to have anything showing at the neck.

I thought buying some V-necked thermal tops would be easy peasy. Apparently not!

So if you are the parent of a cold-blooded daughter that wears a base layer (mustn't call it a vest - not cool!) please let me know where you bought it Smile.

How old is she? Did you want long sleeve or cami?

M and S do ladies thermal tops with long sleeves and a scoop neck if she is in adult sizes?

Mine wear these, www.childrensalon.com/joha-girls-purple-thermal-wool-silk-vest-43725.html They are really lovely.

Dd wears M&S ones under a revere collar shirt.

IvyWall · 26/02/2015 16:34

She could also wear a plain white T shirt with or without sleeves. Usually lots in Primark or H and M

How about a Heattech top from Uniqlo? They come in V and scoop necks so probably won't show.

BackforGood · 26/02/2015 16:39

I got mine some from Aldi just before Christmas - they had several differnt styles, from vests to polos, but dd's have quite a low, round neck.

Not that they'd wear them in school - they'd melt!

AChickenCalledKorma · 26/02/2015 18:38

Thanks all. She's still very much child-size unforunately - otherwise I'd get the same M&S ones I wear to my freezing cold office! Will investigate the other links.

Uniqclo have child sized ones - like t-shirts with a scoop neck. V thin but lovely and warm.

I don't know how old your dd is, but if you choose the ones I mentioned then size down if she is small or very slender as they are on the generous side and also very stretchy. They do last a long time though, as they fit for more than one Winter, being longish and stretchy, so they are worth the money. Also not sweaty as not synthetic.

I've always got DD ones from ASDA. they usually do vest style ones as well as long sleeve tops.
any good?
