Hi there, I don't know where to ask online, I am embarassed asking on here (again).
My son is in yr 11 and has an important homework to do for french. I was lucky to get into double digits in french exams myself and don't know who to ask for help.
Can anyone read it and tell me if there are any bits that do not make sense/bad grammar? Sorry for asking...eeek!

L’ecole finit a 15h40.

Hi bkgirl:

DD1 is just Y7 - but from school we've been told about:

BBC Bitesize French: www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcsebitesize/french/

Homework High languages: www.channel4learning.net/apps/homeworkhigh/languages/

Linguascope (which is free & available after 4 p.m.): www.linguascope.com/

and we stumbled across this french/ english dictionary: www.linguee.com/english-french

Certainly BBC/ Homework High & Linguascope - have text & dialogue you can listen to which helps with conversational french & learning typical phrases for things which don't directly translate.

I'm an MFL teacher. He must look carefully at the title and make sure everything he writes relates to it. Min present past and future tenses. Talk about himself and someone else. Plenty of opinions with reasons.

Good decision bk. I used to teach English to German university students and I could spot a Google translate job fro controlled assessments within a few words. It was invariably awful, but hilarious to read. And scored nul points.
