Schools data by high/low achievers?

Does anyone know - is it possible to get hold of data about schools' GCSE grades by high/medium/low achievers? Eg what percentage of the high achievers' grades are A/A*? I've looked at the obvious places, Ofsted, schools dashboard etc, but can't see GCSE results broken down by group.
Thanks!

I don't know about 'what percentage are A/A*' but if you go to the performance tables it will tell you (under the KS4 average point score paragraph) the average grade achieved by high / middle / low achievers.

if you download the full data set as a spreadsheet you can sort it all by any of the columns.
Its a BIG data set but quite easy to mine.
OR
go to the performance tables, set it for a geographic are and use the "compare" button

I've only ever seen a breakdown by grades for GCSEs and A levels, for our school on our school's own website. Perhaps the schools you're interested in will also publish this info?

Google "school performance data" - it will takeyou to the DfE site.

I did this recently and was amazed at how little difference there really is between schools.

You can also see the percentage of students getting EBacc (GCSEs A-C in English, Maths, a language, 2 sciences and history/geography - I think).

Really interesting set of information.

a random postcode but the cohort data is the important part

further data you need the full sheet or to click on each school
