Brompton and Cardinal VAughan - admission. catholic primary education

these schools want a catholic primary education - if my child goes to CoE school because there were no places in a local catholic school, can I just proof that he was going to church + getting his first Holy Communion etc or do I need to get him on a saturday course/ catechism or sth? or if does not go to catholic school then it is impossible to get points for catholic eductaion?

You can only ask them really.

Do you mean the Oratory, not called Brompton? From what I have been told this would not be enough. We were in a similar situation and were ranked only in the high 200s. It is super competitive so you need every point in your favour. Not having a Catholic education would not cut it, the assume that if it were truly important you would find a Catholic primary no matter how difficult it was. We included a page of what we were doing to promote his catholic education but I suspect did not do it. Just first communion is not sufficient, you need to discuss how you are teaching church values, bible, etc...nightly prayers and extra curricular activities in the church. good luck!

If you really want one of these schools, I reckon you mean the Oratory by Brompton, you need to ensure you fill all the admissions criteria.
Baptism within 6 months is especially important, as it is canon law, and you are obliged to educate your child in Catholic school. Attending mass 3-4 times per month in addition to holy days of obligation goes without saying.

Does not matter where as long in a Catholic Church within the first 6 months of birth
