Ours is.

I've no idea whether our Head has spoken to parents or not - I doubt it- but I know that she, other members of the leadership team and myself (English) have been spending hours looking at the results, data, predicated grades etc to decide on a course of action. Just because you haven't heard, doesn't mean nothing is happening.

Agreed Tiger, completely.

however, it must be tough as the parents on the outside of the school trying to find some sort of explanation about what is going on.

Tiger, That's a really good, succinct explanation. If that single sentence (about how hard you are all working on the data to decide on the best course of action) was on the school's website, it would be very reassuring for parents.

If any parent wants to write to AQA with their concerns, their email address is:

[email protected]

Parent pressure may help the cause to adjust these inequities with grades. The phoneline were very helpful and expressedly encouraged encouraged me to write - maybe AQA need evidence that customers are dissatisfied to move ofqal

It's not my DC's school, but I'm a teacher at a Secondary and the best pupils were doing terribly and the marking was clearly wrong- so we're appealing.
