DS's school now an (outstanding) Academy. Who do we 'complain' to with a problem?

Need to make it clear that actually we have no problem at all with the school at all!

It sort of had its hand forced re academy status recently as it is 'outstanding', thus fast-tracked.

Thing is, to date, if there's been a problem, like dissatisfaction with SEN provision, for example, one had the 'might' of the LEA to complain to (assuming all in-school routes had been exhausted, of course), but what happens now they're an academy and set many of their own 'rules'? Who 'polices' them?

Complaints - should be a complaints policy

Who polices - ofsted will look at SEN provision a lot under new framework

SEN provision - my son is SEN and I've been told the LA have kept responsibility for the provision.

Thanks.

I really wasn't sure how it might 'work'. I was discussing the Big School Move with a mum friend yesterday (DS2 is in Y6) and she had concerns about what recourse she'd have if her SEN DC's needs were seriously not being met at an academy, hence the Q!
