Dulwich and Wilson's

Come on, ladies, help me out, please! In a very fortunate position to have the choice between W and D. We can afford D, just, but would have more opportunities financially as a family (and for younger siblings of DS) if we accepted the state offer.

Any thoughts?

I'm in very similar position as you for my DD who got nonsuch and city of London. We have decided to go for Nonsuch which is -as Wilson- a top academic school, but will take the pressure off financiallt in case the younger DCs don't manage to get into a grammar school

We loved Wilsons when we visited, if it helps. Great Head, nice kids, it was fantastic.

Your son has the chance to go to good school with no financial pressure for his parents or another good school which would mean belt tightening for the whole family. I know which one I would pick.

If I was on the Wilson's waiting list (no chance we'd afford Dulwich in a million years!), I know I'd be praying for you to take up that Dulwich place so my child could have yours...

Thanks for all your thoughts, ladies. You're all completely right, of course, so Wilson's it is. Now pass me that holiday brochure... Grin
