scholarships

My son is applying for a 16+ scholarship to Harrow for History, Goverment and Politics, Economics and Maths. He is strong in Govt and Pol and History but relativly weak @ maths. If he does well in these papers but badly in his Maths, how much of a disadvantage would he be @? He is predicted 5-7A*'s and GCSE.

I would ask his Headteacher who, I suspect, has had some part in recommending him.

If he is doing badly in maths then Harrow will not let him sit maths if he is offered a scholarship.

I think he needs to do well in Maths, even to get on the A-level course, let alone be considered for a scholarship.

Does he have to do Maths?

When I say badly I mean around A grade. It would be alright if he was not entering in for a scholarship but he is. And he does need to take Maths becuase he wants to take PPE in University which requires Maths
