Khadijah Williams sounds amazing, but her story is intersting for more than one reason. These are secondary age students. It's all very well to talk about inspiring people but they need the follow up to this. Behind any of these successful people there is someone who helped them. Your students need to be hearing about those who will support them if they have the drive and determination that the inspirational people have shown. They need to learn about university summer schools, mentoring schemes, the Princes Trust and maybe others I don't know about.
