gcse french - best dictionary?

Anyone any idea on a useful dictionary for gcse? Currently using my degree level one which isn't working one bit.

Also, any ideas on good grammar books especially with verb tables?

This is the one my dd's school recommend. It is quite thick though so not designed for putting in your pocket!

That's the one I got for my DCs although it's not the one we have at school. It's the next one up, really from the GCSE dictionary but the GCSE one isn't really enough for a top level candidate. My 11 and 13 year old DSs find it perfectly manageable to use. DD (9) has a simpler one.

I had a Collins as well (mine was the Robert - recommended back in the Dark Ages for A Level).

Try this book for grammar - the examples are suitably rude (but not downright offensive) and therefor memorable!
