Can anyone suggest a good company that will help me choose what school my child should go to?

I am looking for a list of companys, (anywhere in the UK) who would help me in finding a good school for my 16 year old boy. He is currently at an Independent School in Scotland. We are moving down to England. I just need someone to help me through the whole process. As I really woudn't know where to start. I dint mind how much it costs or where I need to go to get the best help as possible from a professional company!

Many Thanks

The Good Schools Guide also have a telephone advice service. They tend to really like very posh top boys' schools.

That said, where they might help is that it is very very unlikely that you will get ds into the 6th at Westminster for this autumn.... You could try, though, and if his marks are good enough and you're up for full fees he might have a chance, but most places closed books on 6th form months ago.... Gabbitas are commercial, I think, and paid for by the schools, like an advertising service.

Are you by any chance Catholic? If so consider London Oratory, which is state but selective.

The Good Schools guide offer a separate service where they will help find which schools would suit your child.
