Sixth form/sixth form colleges around Norfolk?

We're relocating to the Norwich area for my DD's sixth form. DD is very academic. She's aiming to read at top schools (she is interested in PPE and PPS at Oxbridge). Her current choices for A levels are Maths, Further Maths, English Lit and either History or Philosophy. She wants to take five A levels taking both History and Philosophy but I'm worried it will be too much.

I'm hoping for suggestions on good academic sixth forms for her around Norfolk. We have a unique situation as we're moving from the US so she has no GCSEs. However, she has her "transcripts" from America which are straight "A"s (save for an "A-" in Intro to Art Wink got her lack of artistic ability from me!). She's taking the hardest classes possible so far in the American system.

Any suggestions?

My niece and nephew both went/go to Fakenham College attached to Fakenham High School. Niece has just started law degree at Uni & nephew is hoping to go to Cambridge to read Maths next year, so it's obviously done them good!Sorry I don't know anything about A Level choices though and it is about 1/2hr - 3/4hr drive from Norwich City - so depends where you want to live.

Are you thinking state or independant? I am in Norwich and Norwich High School for Girls is very academic independant girls school with a good sixth form. My DD was there and many of her friends still are. Norwich School is another good independent school in Norwich but quite strict. In state sector Notre Dame High School has a great sixth form. DD left her independent school to go there as it did the International Baccaulaureat and has received four very good university offers.

Yes, state or independent is relevant.

I went to Fakenham bigbluebus and am a 'Norfolk scholar' .

Independent would only be an option with scholarship or bursaries.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Wymondham high school is a brilliant school with an excellent reputation. Their Maths department is one of the best in the county, I'd highly recommend it.
