Edinburgh NHS dentist - child with Molar Incisor Hypomineralisation (MIH)

Could anyone recommend an NHS dentist in Edinburgh to help a child with Molar Incisor Hypomineralisation (MIH)?

My DD is 6 years old and we were initially referred by our NHS dentist to a private clinic. Had an appointment last week and they suggested scale and polish, sealants on molars followed by teeth whitening (???!!!l) and then something called icon treatment.

While I want DD to have the proper treatment, I'm not a millionaire and would struggle to pay for continuous treatment with a private dentist. My main concerns are that she gets treatment asap to avoid any determination to her teeth but also with the hope that the dental hospital could take over when she gets an appointment.

She has some brown spots on her front teeth and it's causing her to become self conscious and upset. I really don't know what the best point of call is or what to do. Our current NHS dentist seems clueless which is why they referred us to the private one.

I would really appreciate any advice or if anyone had experience with a similar issue. My brain is scrambled eggs right now!

My ds has this on his first set of adult molars but not the front teeth, they removed all 4 of them under GA so that his next set would move forward and fill the gap and he wouldn't need braces. It worked and all his adult teeth are through and no more issues.
