Scottish artists - prints

At Christmas I started a thread asking for local recommendations for gifts and ended up buying a beautiful necklace from the Design Exchange and tomorrow my mum is getting chocolate from Edward & Irwyn (and so am I 😁).

I’m now looking for prints for the house and thought I’d ask for Scottish artists you would recommend. I’ve got a print from Gordon Wilson already and my eyes on a Jan Nelson. Who else could I have a look at?

Francis Boag has a very distinctive style which I love…he taught me at school but I didn’t appreciate his work then! I’ve a few of his works

I love Babs Pease. She sells online.

D K Macleod on the Isle of Lewis is excellent. These are real paintings rather than prints so a bit more expensive but really good.

Came on here to recommend these guys. Laura Boswell especially but I have been longing for a Jake miles.

If you like contemporary Scottish art then I recommend Sarah Anderson. Not sure if she does prints though. I have a couple of quite large pieces from her trees collection and they’re stunning. Everyone comments on them the 1st time they see them. I’m trying to make space to add more 😁
