What should Primary 1 aged kids be able to do by the end of this term to be 'on track' in terms of reading, writing and numbers? I know all kids are different but just to get an idea, what are kids this age able to do generally? My DC is writing and recognising letters and numbers to 20 (with some being backwards etc), reading some CVC words and words they are to memorise. Adding and subtracting not really 'got' yet. School said number work was below baseline but not sure what the baseline is! Just wondered what the norm is by this stage for the key learning. Thanks :)
