I’ve grown up in Glasgow all my life and I really do love the place. I’m currently looking for a place to live but struggling to find nice areas with newer houses. I looked at bearsden and milngavie but they’re out of my price range. I’m hoping to find a place that I can raise my daughter in. Any suggestions

Budget? What size of house? Do you want to be within a certain distance of Glasgow?

i would say I don’t want to go over the 380 000 mark price wise it only needs to be a 2 bed and I work in the QEUH so probably within 30 mins of that with easy access to the city centre

I’m a south side girl (although moved away now) but rutherglen, cambuslang, burnside all have nice areas. I think in Glasgow (as I’m sure you know) all the areas kinda merge into each other. So one street can be nice and a two minute walk it’s a bit dodge lol.

Think the same as a south side girl. ‘Rougher’ areas usually have the nicest people
