First message

Bit of background am single have been on and off for 9 yrs
Am the third wheel with my sister and her partner
Me and her partner have similar music tastes so sometimes we go to gigs just the two of us last night being one of those nights

He is tea total so always drives we went for dinner then the gig i drank more than usual so was a bit flirty and when he dropped me off i always give him a cuddle and say thanks but this time i kissed him and i mean kissed him he didnt pull away at first but then stopped it

I kinda laughed and got out the car quick ive felt like shit all day it is so out of character for me we always have a laugh when we go out but ive stepped well over the line here

I texted him earlier and apoligised and he was his usual cool self telling me not to worry and it was our secret

I feel sick i love my sister to bits and i dont think he will say but am dreading meeting up with them

What a first post lol Help

Don't keep it a secret, your sister will eventually find out and it will be 10 times worse.

girlmom21 · 10/11/2022 19:12

I hope he tells your sister. Whatever happens you've ruined your relationship and theirs.

BrokenWing · 10/11/2022 19:15

If yer Scots 'n' gonnae stick yer tongue doon yer sisters mans throat ye better be duin fur a battering

mermeration · 10/11/2022 19:17

She will find out so make very thoughtful decisions about how you deal with this

BritishDesiGirl · 10/11/2022 18:54

He said it's " our secret" don't expect him to keep it to himself. It sounds like he intends to use your secret in the future to use against you.

How on earth did you come to that ?

DarkShade · 10/11/2022 19:20

What do you want us to say, nae danger pal?

If this really happened, which I doubt, you should simply not drink again ever.

ZeldaWillTellYourFortune · 10/11/2022 19:28

It's not the end of the world. But control yourself from now on.

Straighouttaluck · 10/11/2022 19:30

Oh wow.
That is a massive fuck up OP. I'm sorry there is no coming back from this.
If I were you, I would tell your sister and deal with the consequences. Although if I were your sis I would never forgive you, but she does deserve the truth.
Real shitty thing to do OP, drunk as a skunk or not. Wow.

di2004 · 10/11/2022 19:32

Get some respect for yourself. End of.

Greybutterfly · 10/11/2022 19:34

What is funny about this situation. You should be disgusted with yourself. Get your own life instead of imposing on your sisters.

Velvetween · 10/11/2022 19:44

Wow. I can’t get over your casual tone. “I got a bit flirty”…like that’s to be expected. And announcing yourself as the third wheel in your sisters relationship? Stop living such a sad existence, start by working on yourself, quit drinking and then maybe consider finding a partner of your own.

6poundshower · 10/11/2022 19:46

Yawn...

6poundshower · 10/11/2022 19:47

It's a wind up. Probably some bored teenager

Usernamepleasework · 10/11/2022 19:50

@KenCoff Eh???

Usernamepleasework · 10/11/2022 19:54

Haha sorry just got it lol @KenCoff

DomPom47 · 10/11/2022 19:59

You sound like a great sister.

BlueThursday · 10/11/2022 20:04

Was it a Glasgow kiss?

KitchiHuritAngeni · 10/11/2022 17:32

You're the absolute worst type of person.

Blaming alcohol, getting 'flirty' but you can't help it of course, drunkenly lunging at your sisters dp (and let's face it, if he was responsive you would have went much further), then forcing him into the position of choosing to tell the truth and blow your sisters world up, or lying to her. Then you come and post about it 'lol'ing as if it's hilarious and you just want a gossip and everyone to say it's no big deal.

Stop drinking for a start. Tell your sister as well, it's the only fair thing to do so she can decide if you're worth having a relationship with. Definitely don't go to anymore gigs or anywhere else alone with him.

The ‘worst’ type of people are rapists and murdererers, OP is a selfish brat with no care for her sibling but not the worst kind of person.

Was it a Glasgow kiss?

That's what the sister will soon be giving her!
