Secondary School Recommendations in Edinburgh for Children with SALT/DLD/Generalised learning difficulties

Hello,
Potentially looking to move to Edinburgh. Our child has additional needs and has a plan. So far the special schools I spoke to are not suitable as they have children with severe physical and emotional difficulties. Mainstream not suitable however would consider schools with a unit/hub or independent schools or special schools for more moderate issues. The school needs to support speech and language difficulties.

Would be grateful for any recommendations or advice

We do have schools with Enhanced Support Bases. But I don’t know if they have what you are looking for.

I’d recommend this group on Facebook for more knowledgeable parents to help or guide you. www.facebook.com/groups/495538157523959/?ref=share

@Margot87 there is a Facebook group called ausome families in edinburgh and if you ask this question on there, you'll get good help as always tonnes of questions on edinburgh schools.
