Elie chain walk - loads of fun!

Dunino Den is pretty fascinating. Got lots of links to paganism etc, people leave little gifts there and you can look for carvings on the rock wall

Thanks

Any more?

Last time I was up there you could go wind surfing on the beach. Not sure what proper name is but hopefully you'll know what I mean. My teenage boys loved it.

Paddle boarding on Eile beach looks great fun, when I watched through the window if The Ship Inn enjoying lovely food.?

Elie Chain walk

Groovee · 06/06/2021 08:11

We went into St Andrew's to the Himalayas putting green.

Sofuckingsad · 06/06/2021 08:13

Geocache on the coastal path.

Plexie · 06/06/2021 08:23

Coastal path, especially between Anstruther and Elie. Be wary of the Chain Link Walk - too many stories of people having to be rescued.

Is the Fisheries museum open? Boat trip to May Isle?

East Neuk Outdoors does archery & axe throwing as well as the usual water sports you'd expect.
Kingsbarns beach is a favourite with my kids (15 & 12) & the Cheesy Toast shack there does the best toasties.
Alpaca Trekking at Bowbridge Alpacas
Eden Mill & Kingsbarns Distilleries both do tours & gin & whisky tasting. I know they're too young but might find it interesting & you can drink their share.
St Andrews - Himalayas putting, Jannettas for ice cream, acquarium, West Sands Beach, Land yachting
RIB trip to Isle of May

This is brilliant fun, highly recommend. It's in St Andrews.

Elie chain walk is great, check tide times and you’ll be fine. Crail has a lovely pier for jumping off, not too high, if the weathers good.

There’s a wee mini golf in pittenweem that’s harder than it looks and only costs £7 for the family. The ice cream /sweet shop in pittenweem Harbour is lovely too.

Blown away do land Yachting, surf lessons, kayaks, paddle boards. My kids did surf club there last holidays and even the 16 year of thought the guys and girls that ran it were great. They are horrendous at responding to emails though, best to phone and as far ahead as you can 😊
Honestly Luvians ice cream beats Janettas easily and the queue is much better but Janettas is the more interesting option as they have all the flavours. The cheese toasty shack at st.Andrews beach is good too.

Plexie · 07/06/2021 20:21

The obvious answer to the Janetta's vs Luvian's conundrum is to go to both Grin

Belindabelle · 09/06/2021 17:06

If the queue at the Anstruther chippie is horrendous I can recommend the Crail chippie. There is also a putting green in Crail and it is a great place to go crabbing. Good for fossils too.

There used to be a ferry from Anstruther to North Berwick but not sure if it is running this year. The Bowhouse market outside St Monans is good for pizza and street food. Tennis at the pavilion in Elie.
