Anyone else scared that after doing so well as a country, we'll see an increase of cases in the next few weeks due to being un-able to control the border?

It is a bit concerning. I'm not suggesting that Scots are morally superior in any way but the fact remains that the numbers here are significantly lower than those in England (and elsewhere). If thousands of Scottish people descend on portobello beach, or Kelvingrove Park, or Loch Lomond, the chances are that there will not be an infected person there. If we open up to other areas, there is more chance of the infection spreading. Similarly when people go on holiday outside Scotland. There is nothing, realistically, that we can do about it, but it's a worry.

Also can anyone tell me if any of the phases refer to being allowed to stay over with family? I can't see it anywhere...

Under the extended household stuff you already can if one household (1 adult/1 adult and children under 18) meets the requirements. So we can stay with my widowed mother but not my inlaws. That's the only mention I've seen so far.

Thanks Dinosaur yes it's to stay over with both parents (they live far away so haven't seen them at all and hoping I don't need to wait until phase 4!).
Yes Sam agreed and was happy to see the police closed Kelvingrove yesterday. Was baffled at why some groups had been allowed to congregate at George Sq - water cannons spring to mind!!

Regional lock downs would be pointless because people would just travel somewhere else to shop etc.

Closing a business in eg Edinburgh that has an outbreak won't stop the employees going to the shops or mixing with friends and family.

Are air bridges definitely happening or is it just media speculation? When will it be announced?

DH is saying to hold off til October before considering going abroad but what if its worse than it is now?
