Loch Lomond hen weekend in Feb

I’m organising a hen weekend in February somewhere around Loch Lomond (self catering depends on numbers.) Any ideas for activities for the Saturday? The bride definitely wants afternoon tea but has said no to Go Ape type thing or horse riding. I feel we need an “activity”.

Everyone will be flying into Glasgow from around the UK, including the Scots that are going. Loch Lomond seems like a good choice as bride wants nice walks, pubs, relaxing with mates instead of plastic willies & strippers!

Thank you for any ideas!!!!

How about Lochend Chalets right on the Lake of Menteith and book a special class at the immediately adjacent Nick Nairns Cook School (you could ask for a Wedding Canapes class, or something Grin ).

Or self-catering at Stronachlachar www.lochside-cottage.com/ and a trip on the Steamship Sir Walter Scott.

Or Gartmore Estate activities with both hotel and self-catering accommodation www.gartmoreestate.com/gartmore-house/activity-holidays/

Book the whole of Rowardennan Youth Hostel and make your own entertainment www.hostellingscotland.org.uk/rentahostel/

Around Aberfoyle would be lovely but she isn’t keen as she feels it’s too far for us to travel from Glasgow. She was brought up in Callander.

tir na nog is a bit away from loch lomond but handy if you based yourself in drymen or balmaha and still a reasonable distance even from luss? not sure of your numbers but they might be prepared to organise a "package" of some sort and i've had afternoon tea there and it was nice. treatments are good as well although i did have a treatment once in the winter and the room wasn't as warm as i would have liked (but i feel the cold terribly - most folk would prob be fine!).
