Family Court

Partner has sought legal advice but just wondering in the meantime:

Does Scotland have an equivalent of "CAFCASS" like England / Wales?

If he was to go to court regarding access to his child (long story short: EXW okays it as and when and has asked for a contact proposal... but has since rejected this when given saying they should go back to "as and when")

It's probably going to have to go to court I think to get it black and white what each of them can expect.

Just not sure how this works here?

Lots of ideas through threads about England but not much about Scotland.

The courts will often appoint an independent lawyer to do a 'bar report' which involves speaking to both sides separately and possibly the children depending on their ages and makes a recommendation re contact.
