New standard testing starting soon at a school near you... Will we know the results?

Does anyone know if we can see how your child (P1, P4, P7 or S2) or the school as a whole have fared? I have been trying to find out some information, but could find nothing.
What has surprised me is that my primary where my DD (P4) will be sitting this test next week has been doing A LOT of revision all this week and will carry on doing so until test day next week.

I trust that was just to show what /where to click. I was rather surprised myself...

Do you think the tests being three years in the making meant that teachers had access to them for that time? Confused Of course they didn’t. If these tests become hugely significant classes will start teaching to the test, which would be very detrimental. I think you have problems with your own child’s school that not all of us share - though I think sessions on literacy and numeracy is quite a big deal, I’ve not had that, but I can make an appointment to see the class teacher when I need to as well as at parent’s evening.

No, but I would expect they would know what to do with them. I mean, it is hardly rocket science.
Instead it is all cloak and dagger stuff... (And anyway, I bet that in a VERY FEW years' time they WILL be teaching to the test; it is only natural and unavoidable. )

It’s only cloak and dagger if you think the teachers know something and are keeping it from parents. Whereas them not knowing much more than you is a distinct possibility...
If schools start to teach to the test tbf it is down to parents like you who want to use them to find fault with the school/compare local schools based on test results

Isn't that just natural behaviour? Considering that I don't know anything at all of what goes on, it doesn't seem so absurd to me.

Natural doesnt always mean good! Don’t you know what’s going on to some extent from the homework? Or read the CFE documents online? Frankly there’s a lot I don’t want to know about the minutiae of my dcs’ day at school!

Just got the report card. No mention of the test anywhere :(
