Eastwood High School

Hi all,
We are planning on moving to Newton mearns and Eastwood High and Crookfur Primary would be our catchment schools. I know friends in the area who have kids in Crookfur and have heard lots of lovely things about the school. I don't know anyone with kids in Eastwood High school but have read the HMI report and newsletters and it looks like a lovely school. Anyone with any experience of the school?

waxoff The useful information I added was that the OP and another poster wanted was that they should only seek information and advice from ERC, as they no the rules. I have heard of builders/estate agents saying a house is in the catchment area for a particular school and when someone bought it this was’t true. Your list of priorities before you went onto ERC website were incorrect - fake advice.
