how to charge mobiles so I can text him all the time

I've been to T in the Park and just got back from Glastonbury.

The main thing is for him to keep his cash safe. There's plenty of food & drink stalls so he can pretty much buy anything he wants to eat & drink there. I'd suggest a bum bag (worn at the front or side, not back) to keep cash & phone in.

Toilets are mainly portaloos & pretty grim, he'll need loo roll & hand sanitizer. Washing facilities are very few & he won't be having a wash or shower all weekend unless he chucks a bottle of water over himself.

He'll easily find his way back to his tent by looking out for nearby flags. If he's drinking he needs to pace himself especially if it's hot. He'll def need sun cream & a hat, plus wellies. If it's dry it gets very dusty & if it rains the mud will come out of nowhere. Tell him not to fall asleep in the sun & to wake up anyone else who does, it's really easy to get sunburnt.

Just the supermarket for the wheelie bin liners, might be a bit of a stretch for 6foot for sleeping in then, but still good for putting everything in to keep dry.

You can't get in on Friday till later in the day. Dh and I didn't realise this and spent hours sitting outside waiting for them to open the gates.

It is great though - he will have a ball. Smile

Haven't been for a few years but last time I was there they had mobile phone charging stations with all the different types of chargers. You do have to hang about while your phone charges so he might not be keen on wasting that time.
Also I live near the old venue and mobile phone signal gets very patchy over the whole weekend I think just due to the volume of people in the area. So don't be surprised if contact is sporadic.

You can get those portable charging cells. Charge as you would your phone and depending on the type you can recharge your phone a couple of times.

Sorry SSD - ignore me, I haven't been for years. It's probably different for campers anyway.
