Is it normal for younger children to have fewer holiday playdates?

Hello
my boy is nearly 10 and he's spent a few days with his friends over the holidays either here or there. My daughter who just turned 7 hasn't seen any of her friends and none of the parents have messaged either. I reached out to one last night in the end as I just feel a bit sorry for her - (no reply yet)
She's not really mentioned it much and seems fine in her own company and with her brother.
she struggled early on with friends as she was such a little one in the year and a lot of the girls are older ones in the year. But she does do play dates with a few girls here and there in school time- they all live near each other though, so see each other more often. I always feel like my daughter is just an extra sometimes.
I'm very friendly with my son's friends mums too and I think that's probably why we see them more. I think I'm being overly anxious but I have these thoughts that everyone is seeing people bar my daughter and just wanted people's thoughts and (reassurance!) I know I can't assume her journey will be the same as my son but it just worries me.
Thanks!

I think it depends on the child and the friends at the time. Mine are 12 and 9 and throughout primary they have had holidays where one is always out playing and others when it’s the other one.

I’d message a few more parents to see if anyone wants to play.
