If you don't have an income, does your working partner give you money for things you need/want?
Or do you share a bank account you can use whenever you want/need?

We share a bank account, work out a budget for the month and then try to stick to it. Bigger purchases (maybe £60+) we usually run past each other. It’s our money jointly so no one has more or less we just figure out what we can spend together

Have our own accounts and a joint account. Most household stuff goes out of joint a/c and dh rarely uses that one, he pays a chunk of his wage in to it via SO. I get CB in my account and move what's left after savings SO and DD's in to joint to go toward all household/family needs.
We both have our budgets but if we have a hefty purchase for the home we often split the cost between those budgets. We rarely argue about money.
