So I'm a SAHM (single) and I'm wanting to start my own business, but can not decide on what?
Here are a few ideas, what do you MNs think?

Eyelash extension?

House cleaning?

Funeral flowers? (Morbid I know but when mum passed and nana they were so expensive! and would and could challenge those prices)

Talking therapy for OAPs in homes or their own homes (basically giving lonely OAP someone to talk too, taking them away from the loneliness (have no family/friends/don't get out etc)
P.S my friend suggested the OAP one cause she said I can communicate brilliant with all people and can talk the socks off people..ha ha...Also I'm a very good listener.

All very different I know! But I have a child with SEN (rare syndrome) so need to work hours that could work for him and me.

What do you think?

Thanks

You would need training for the talking therapy, insurance to cover you in case you're accused of giving bad advice or stealing something and I reckon the income wouldn't be reliable. You also run the risk of people phoning you at all times just for a chat if you become the most significant person in their life.

Flowers isn't a bad idea. You can set up a Facebook page and advertise in local groups. You could also expand to include eg mother's Day, weddings, etc. Start up costs would be minimal I'd think. Are you any good at it though? Though there are courses of course, I think Gateshead college does one.

That’s quite an eclectic mix. What interests / skills do you have?
