Help - smell of slurry on clothes - can they be saved?

I've lived here nearly 10 years and this is the first time I've got caught out by the farmer in the field that runs along side our house slurrying! I only spotted him coming back with his 2nd load and ran out to get it in then.

I had a full wash out, which is dry. It doesn't actually smell too bad, maybe just a 'hue' lol! Any way I can save them without having to rewash the lot?

Essential oils on a colour catcher in the tumble dryer?

Urghh no. Just wash them again , you will stink.

I’d just wash them again.

Put them through another full wash cycle

Oh gosh, I thought you meant that you'd been sprayed with slurry! Yes, just wash again....

Definitely rewash… with white vinegar added in the load, trust me 👩🏼‍🌾

I often have washing out when there's muckspreading in the next field. It very rarely makes it smell. Maybe hang it up in the house overnight and see if that sorts it?

That happened my MILs mother!! She was visiting from London after my DH was born, went to take in some washing and got covered in actual slurry 😷

OK back in the machine they go!!
