Hi Mums

Does anyone know Warwickshire really well? Which are the professional more affluent areas? What are the people generally like ? Are there any close knit communities?

Would like to know which area is most suitable for us if theres no budget?

We have an only child and he's 7. He is very outdoorsy and loves making friends of all ages. Would like a close knit community.

We love rural living and the outdoors. However, I also love shopping & going out for coffees etc and my son loves to socialise, cycle, swim etc. We'd also like him to go to a good school and move close to good Secondary school so we don't have to move again when he's Secondary school age.

We currently live in the Peak District and absolutely love it here. More so because the people are really down to earth and very pleasant.

My parents live in Birmingham and are getting older and I need to see them more often. When they visit me it's very awkward for them to travel all the way up here. It takes about 1 and half hours. We want to move closer but not be on the door step. so I can pop in every weekend or every other weekend and I dont mind driving upto 45 min 1 hour max. (We hate Birmingham and esp the accent sorry brummies lol)

After looking at the map we gathered Warwickshire would be our best bet in terms of what were looking for.

Thank you in advance xx

Kenilworth might be a good option? Or smaller still and closer to Brum is Knowle, which I think was featured in Muddy Stilettos "places to live"?

Not Warwickshire, but have you thought about Sutton Coldfield and villages around Cannock Chase?
