Found an adder 🐍 in the garden today

Seriously though, I can’t find photos online or an adders nest to make sure I recognise one should I see it.

My son casually told me this morning that he and his girlfriend saw one while they were out for a walk on Saturday afternoon.

I live in the Monmouthshire area and have seen several in different places over the years. They scare the shit out of me! Give me and cow or horse anyday!!

Can I ask please, what’s the ARG website? I’m SW, not overly rural but if I see one I’d like to log it.

I cycled over one by mistake that was in the middle of the road (sorry adder people). That was in North Wales.
