Where in Surrey?

Hi mums,

I live in South London at the moment and am considering a move to Surrey.

I'm looking for a (preferably detached) 4 bed property up to £850k

Ideally want somewhere within a half mile to fast train to London, Wimbledon or a main station.

Would love to get a cafe/restaurant culture on my doorstep and some decent little shops.

Is there anywhere that matches my needs?! Or do I need a bigger budget?

You probably don't realise how much.
I just need thoughts and ideas because my other half isn't very good with house chat!

I'll do a little drive around at some point but I fear that what I want north of Guildford may be slightly out of budget.

Bit late to this thread op, but have you considered Tadworth/Walton on the Hill area, or anywhere round the back of Epsom Downs, like Ashtead, and also Leatherhead? They are a bit closer to open countryside at least.
