Tell me what are the signs for someone having an affair?

Most of these men say they are happily married and want a discreet affair.

I wondered if you are his wife sitting at home every night looking after the kids, how would you ever know?

What are the warning signs?

There must be some?

In my case there were no signs whatsoever, even with hindsight.

Nothing anyone has mentioned above as a tell tale - there was no way for me to know at all. To this day I have no idea when he saw his OW as he didn't work late/away/weekends

Ooh, can you link to the thread? I worked I corporate banking for 23 years and yes they were all at it. Men and women.

I'd say the biggest sign at home is just an odd feeling of distance. Once there are secrets there's no real intimacy. I don't mean sex, I mean closeness. That's what the "gut" thing is about.
