My husband and I are both in our late 20s and have been married for three years. We don't have children. He was laid off from his tech job and has been telling me he's applying for jobs. I've been supporting him because I know the job market is tough, but I've become really concerned about how much time he spends on his phone and laptop. One day, I left the house but realised I'd forgotten my purse, so I went back to get it. When I opened the bedroom door, he was sitting at his laptop wearing a bathrobe, which I thought was strange. He quickly closed his laptop, and I found his behaviour suspicious. I later discovered he'd been watching porn and had several tabs open with my sister's social media profiles, including her LinkedIn. When I confronted him, he admitted that he finds her attractive and has been looking at her profiles for over a year. My sister is single, a successful dentist, and most of her pictures are quite glamorous. We only meet as sisters around twice a year. I'm really concerned because I thought my husband was spending his time looking for work, only to discover this happening behind my back. I love him, but I don't think I'll ever forget that day, and I'm struggling to trust him now. I keep wondering how long this has been going on and whether his interest in my sister has become an obsession. Part of me is even considering leaving him, which is difficult after three years of marriage. What would you do in my situation? Is this a strange obsession, or am I overreacting? Could couples counselling help us rebuild trust, or would you consider this a deal-breaker?
