He’s great but be honest how much would this bother you?

I can’t believe I’m actually feeling like this as I know it is so so so superficial.

Started daring a lovely man. I am attracted to him. Met 6 times now and last time things progressed and I now know he has a small penis. It’s not tiny but definitely on the smaller side and I have only had 4 other partners but all been much bigger.

We haven’t had sex yet but this has made me feel funny about it. Is it a big deal? He is very into me, I know that sounds arrogant but I don’t want to hurt him. Is sex likely to be a bit rubbish?

OP posts:

There is a sex thread for such matters. This is a bit personal and unedifying. Would you think it appropriate for a man to post about the size of a woman's genitals or breasts?

No... So why is it ok to post this type of intimate and quite personal subject in the relationships thread? Is it because the OP is a new poster and has not fulfilled the required membership period for posting on the sex thread?

Its a bit gruesome and I don't want to see it or hear it, and there was no pre-warning of the subject matter. Keep it to the sex thread for those that want to read about that type of thing.

It’s hardly fair to ask a question and then decide the answer for yourself. I think it’s okay for men to ask similar questions about women.

Also, it’s hardly gruesome. If you don’t like it, move on.

Just update us whether you’re continuing with the relationship or not when you find out

LolalaBouche · 03/10/2026 20:15

I don’t think it matters unless it’s miniscule. My husbands penis is smaller than all my previous boyfriends, but I have the best sex of my life with him.

Bangolads · 03/10/2026 20:55

With respect, you are focusing on something so utterly foolish and childish. I’ll tell you what matters, that when you’re sick or weak from grief and stress, perhaps when you’re at your absolute lowest and you’re wondering how you might go on or perhaps you just need someone to really really be there as you feel things overwhelm or fall apart, what matters is that he’s there and he steps up to support wholeheartedly. Because in those moments, which you may every well think are the very worst you’ve ever experienced, you’re not thinking about the size of his di@k. Get a grip.

Sooo very hypocritical. We know that if a man had posted the equivalent of this, he would be chased off the site with a virtual pitchfork amongst screams of misogyny. Lets be real.

How is that hypocritical? That only makes sense if you know me. I can’t speak for anyone but myself. If a man asked other men a similar question in a similar manner I don’t find that offensive. You can’t decide how other people feel.

I am talking about the prevailing and collective view that would have been presented on this site. What you think as an individual is not that relevant, I am referring to how most posters would have perceived such a question and responded to it here on this site. I thought my post made that clear with the reference to them being chased off the site.. That is not a reference to one individual, since one person's view would not have that much of an impact.

Also you are hypocritical as I said find it gruesome but you yourself said
Its hardly gruesome and yet
You cant decide how other people feel.

So which one is it?

I personally find it gruesome and weird, and I am allowed to think and feel that, irrespective of your opinion on the matter.

You’re making no sense. You seem to have muddled everything up. I don’t find it gruesome and YOU can’t decide how people feel. Even if I had said “I can’t decide how people feel”there’s still no hypocrisy there. You said that women would be offended if it was men discussing something similar. I said you can’t speak for others. YOU can’t decide that other women are offended.

I’m not trying to change your opinion. Ironic coming from the person deciding women would be offended and not allowing them to say how they would feel.

I didn't say you found it gruesome I said I did. Comprehension problem much?

You are either being obtuse or are genuinely ignorant of the site's ethos if you think a man stating the equivalent would be accepted. He would have his arse handed to him, and rightly so. That is just a fact based on the stance of the majority of members of this site. Ergo, this is not the site for this type of discussion, unless you post it in the sex thread. Happy to help.

In my opinion it’s not gruesome. That wasn’t a fact, it was an opinion. Just as your opinion was that it is gruesome. I didn’t word it as an opinion because I thought it was obvious. My comment about you deciding how people feel about something was my issue. You can’t say how people feel. I wouldn’t expect men to post on here in particular and I haven’t come across it but if they do I’m fine with it. I’m not sexist. I think women can have this type of discussion and men can too.

Sex is part of a relationship so I don’t see a problem with this discussion being here. I think it’s a waste of time to tell people you don’t like it though because this post is still here and you’re being petty.

Oh give over, it has had hardly any responses or engagement, I imagine because most people feel like me and don't want to engage with a rather unedifying and gruesome subject matter. The proof of the pudding as they say, is in the eating.

And I am confused as to why you starting to badger me when I responded to another poster saying she would prefer not to read such things either. Have you nothing better to do? Petty, much?

🙄

Justamum36 · 06/10/2026 17:50

Look, only you know if it truly will be an issue but tbh this would be a completely irrelevant detail to me personally. It depends what you’re looking for but I have had a few partners, all of which had different sized appendages and the thing that ended each one had absolutely nothing to do with that. I had incredibly satisfying experiences with the one who was quite a bit below average, it was definitely on par with or above the experiences with other partners.

But, if it’s an incredibly important thing for you to have a partner with a big willy then leave the guy rather than dragging it on and allow him to to meet someone who values the wonderful man he is. There is nothing worse than finding out something about your body is an issue for the person dating you.

WigglywagglyWanda · 06/10/2026 21:19

Ignoring the handbags at dawn and thread police telling you where you should post....

Look we all have things that give us the ick. If a small penis puts you off it just does.

But if youre asking others what they think, well its if you fancy the pants off him and want to then the physical size doesnt really matter!

So long as its in good working order and he knows what he should be doing is more important!

idrinkandiknowthings · 07/10/2026 13:52

I'm trying to avoid the pearl-clutchers and answer your question!

I had a couple of nights with a guy with an extremely small penis. He was very talented in other ways and I didn't feel in the slightest way let down.

The relationship didn't continue further due to other reasons.

spritelover · 07/10/2026 16:23

If he's really small it would be a problem for me , but small ish ie 4 inches i could be ok with as long as hes good at oral and has no problems getting erect. I've loved having sex with guys around 5 inches , as another poster has said really enormous cocks are painful

Boomer55 · 07/10/2026 16:29

Technique matters more than size. 😉
