It doesn’t matter, if you’re straight and looking for men then the same guys are on all of them 😂 I’ve tried all the mainstream ones on a rotation (hinge, bumble, tinder, fb dating) and they’re just the same faces over and over. I usually pay for a week or month so I can hide my profile and see my likes. A friend is on PoF, match and Ok Cupid and says the same about those, just the same guys. There’s a new one called Breeze where you just match and date with no texting, I’m in a major city and there’s hardly anyone on it so I’m getting guys from cities miles away despite my settings. I met my last ex on tinder, the one before that fb dating and both of those were monogamous committed relationships, so there are decent men out there but it takes a lot of swiping. If you’re in or near a big city you’ll have plenty of options. Take them all with a pinch of salt! They’ll be on hinge saying they want long term and I’ll see them on tinder wanting just hook ups. I even tried Feeld as I’m not looking for anything too serious and that’s a bit of a wild place if you’re more or less vanilla. I’ve discovered on there that if you put you’re looking for ‘casual dating’ a lot of men think that = instant sex and send dick pics right off the bat. Have a thick skin, don’t take ghosting seriously, and vet ruthlessly.

Tinder used to have a reputation for just hooks ups, to an extent the men do seem to be less serious there, so if you’ve not done OLD before maybe try bumble or hinge first. Hinge tends to be slightly more serious guys, by which I mean it really limits your likes per day, so in theory makes people more selective. Some apps give loads so apparently some people just swipe on everyone, then once matched bother to read the bio. I’ve done OLD on and off around 5 years when single and honestly I’ve never known it be as bad as it is now. Lots of fake or old photos, lots of flaky behaviour and ghosting. Take regular breaks from it, limit your time on the app, maybe check out Jennie on Burned Haystack method. I don’t agree with all of it but she points out some really interesting things to help women vet low effort or abusive men.
