Tinder - what am I doing wrong?

Tinder keeps:

Showing me people who are outside my distance length

Matching me with people who I DEFINITELY have not matched with (have 3-4 deal breakers in terms of photos and they keep coming up as a match).

No-one has access to my account
I have put my settings NOT to show me others if outside my distance range (keep checking it and it remains on distance I chose).

Honestly, the last bloke looked like 90 yo Goth who smoked crack.

I think it’s become more aimed at serious dating rather than casual hook-ups: when I last used it a few years ago the bio space had a very low word limit, and emphasis mostly on photos. A friend showed me her profile recently and now the bio can be much longer and more descriptive, and there are a range of lifestyle and hobbies questions you can opt to answer with further text, more like OK Cupid. Loads of users seem to write more, too.

There’s a few like that who get very angry and increasingly offensive if you don’t respond within a few minutes of them sending you a minimum effort ‘hi’

I had one sent me a message while i was out and not logged into the app. Within an hour he sent several ‘hello’ ‘are you there’ type messages here a final ‘oh another up her own arse bitch who thinks she’s too good for everyone’

When I eventually logged in I replied ‘I was out but thanks for showing yourself early’ af he actually replied ‘you ain’t all that anyway I was doing you a favour’

And sadly there’s a lot like that out there

All of the apps seem to have developed bugs recently, POF keeps suggesting people on the continent (using distance over sea, rather than filtering per country). Bumble seems to take minutes to load (with the new iOS), but I'm sure someone will say how Burned Haystack can help with the speed of the app.
