Old flame

Seriously, I'm talking 25 years ago. It was brief but intense. Haven't seen him but been writing off and on.

We've both lived separate lives all this time.

Why is it suddenly back and strong? Especially when my life is settled and I'm happy?

Possibly this old flame is just lonely and just doesn't have a girlfriend. You know what men are like.

Or he is after a favour. Somewhere to live or money.

If you are happy with your family just cut off all contact with him.

@SemiRetiredLoveGoddeess he's not single. It's all completely ridiculous really 😣

@Insaneinthembrane sorry do you remember which Nick Cave podcast you listened to? I've found a few and just wondered if I should trawl through them all or if there is a specific one you remember?

@springbabydays I think it’s this one: https://onbeing.org/programs/nick-cave-loss-yearning-transcendence/
I hope you’re doing okay

Ah thank you so much.

I'm ok thanks. Still feeling big feelings and looking for what to do with them! I need to get creative I think.

I have an old flame I've never forgotten. Turned out he never had me either. Love is an amazing thing when it's right.
