Hiding mounjaro from husband

So I have been overweight since having my children, not morbidly but just in a permanent cycle of diets weight gain/ loss but never more than a few pounds here and there. At 45 I have had enough so spent a considerable amount of time looking into mounjaro. I spoke to my husband who was really not keen, said at the end of the day its my choice but he didn't like the idea. I went ahead anyway. I feel so sick about not telling him. I am 3 months in , lost a stone and feel so good. But now panicking he will find out maybe via my medical history or something. I cant bring myself to tell him, can I ask my Dr to put a note on my file to say he doesn't know?

I'm here with my tail between my legs. I assumed as I bought from an online supplier it wouldn't show on my NHS records. I have just had a look and my records have indeed been updated with what I ordered and my weight every month so yes it will show on your record 🙈.

I still think you should make your DH aware though, but maybe that's because in our household our income is combined so I'd be annoyed if my DH was spending over £100 a month on something without my knowledge.

Also from a safety point of view if something happened and emergency services needed to know what medication I was on and he didn't know and it wasn't disclosed it would be dangerous.

I don't want to sound like a dick but I feel like because I have been very, very overweight for such a long time I have been so honest with my partner because we have been trying to save for various things and this is obviously quite a large expense. I had exhausted all other avenues for weight loss and was considering surgery but this is working for me at the moment.

Controversial but I don't agree at all with people using it to shift a stone or two. The amount of posts I've seen of people lying about their start weight or editing/using other peoples photos is insane.

I don't understand why anyone who isn't or has never been obese would lie and manipulate assessments for medication that they do not need and it seems to be quite widely accepted.

I’m surprised tbh. My husband has started. I’m the slim one and he’s the one who struggles with yo-yo binging. He told me right away and I said good for him, why not give it a try. I’d be confused if he kept it a secret from me. He does plenty to annoy me eg get too drunk but this wouldn’t be one of the issues.

I can’t imagine having a husband I couldn’t tell about something so benign.

This. Seems controlling. You shouldn't have to hide things in your own house OP.
