Too outing to state so changing some detail:

-was told he was due to be ordained as a minister soon and every Friday he was at church (both lies)

-he had been in the army and seen a friend wounded

-his family are from an exotic Middle Eastern country (not)

-he was 26 (he was 22)

-he was doing a phd (undergrad)

The list goes on. Can’t explain the affect of being with a pathological liar. Messed you up. I was 21. Very gullible with loads of trauma from childhood so desperately sought connection.

Not as bad or as traumatic as all the others posted… but he told me I looked great with pin straight, blond hair. Encouraged me to bleach it more… whenever I see the photos I wonder did he actually like that or did he want me to look bad? Dragging me down with him. He did way worse stuff but the hair… demonic.

That the massage parlour he went to in the red light district of the city we lived in was the only legal massage parlour in the area and not a brothel.

I didn’t believe but sadly had no confidence to leave him. I wish I had then, would have saved me lots more pain but probably wouldn’t have met DH.

STBX tells everyone that I chose not to sit with DS whilst he was having chemo. During lockdown. I was not allowed under the restrictions. Vile man.
