Just wondering what others in a Ltr are like?
I’ve had my phone for a year now and no pics of us or him.
we just returned from a lovely break away and he wouldn’t get any pics with me or kids.
He also never takes any himself.
I was left feeling quite silly / like a nuisance for wanting to take pics.

Married 12 years, three kids. He always takes photos of the kids, and I will insist we have a family selfie or just us. He would never refuse. We both send a few on to family and we send each other photos if we think there's ones the other person missed.

There a gazillions pics of my kids. There’s a quarter gazillion pics of my DH with and without kids. There’s maybe a handful of me and kids, maybe two of me and DH. Why? Because I take the photos and I’m with the kids a lot more than he is. Even in the hospital the photos DH took of me and newborn are a bit blurry.

You need to take more selfies with the kids. Don't worry if the angle is wonky or someone's squeezed in a corner. They'll still cherish them one day when you're gone

Agree on this. I get second-hand embarrassment for these sorts of people. It comes across as so vain and self-absorbed.

My ex used to always want to take selfies of us for social media and would make us do it again if he didn't think it came out right, it was always in public and I found it mortifying. He was a bit simple in general tbh, we didn't stay together long 😂.

My DP of 5 years rarely takes a picture of anything because his phone is a shonky old piece of crap and pictures look like they've been taken on a pinhole camera 😀 I like to take the occasional one of us together when we're away somewhere nice and he never grumbles about that.

Mine hates his photo being taken. Every single selfie I have of us looks like I’m holding him hostage lol. His screen saver photo is of car. Doesn’t bother me at all but I do insist on a few pics as we want the memories for our dc when we are gone

That’s why I want to take them, for the children to have. I like to make those free photo books you get online but it’s just usually all pics of the kids. And there’s never any of me in them.
