Ex partner

My youngest daughter had a pulled arm injury 9 months ago. She was having a tantrum and was holding my hand at the time. She threw herself to the floor a couple of times and then complained of a sore arm. I took her to hospital and the doctors fixed the dislocation. My daughter didn’t raise any concerns or with family or day care staff at the time. 9 months later my ex partner who sees her once a week has rang social services and told them daughter has said mummy hurt her arm. I’m shocked he has sunk this low. When I asked my daughter about the arm she replied daddy said you hurt my arm. Because of his complaint i now have a visit from social services. I have an older daughter too who doesn’t go to the fathers. He has in direct contact with her. He has also been arrested and awaiting decision. I am the children’s main carer and have been for 2 years. I feel he is trying to attack me and retaliate because of the arrest and indirect contact with his child. Has anyone been visited after a pulled arm injury or dealt with an ex making up a situation. Thanks.

Why has he been arrested?
Is he the father of both of the children?

I'm sorry but if you can't understand that reporting the incident to social services may not be retaliation but actually the right course of action for preventative help, then that's concerning.

Yes it may have been the child's fault or an accident, doesn't mean it should have been checked.

Besides which, it was probably the hospital that reported it, which they are duty bound to do, and have nothing to do with the ex

I was told the ex reported it. Only a week ago. I don’t mind them coming round I have nothing to hide. But I have been through family court with him dealing with all kind of accusations.

My ex accused me of hurting and strangling our ds when ds went running to him because I was liaising with school due to some behavioural issues. Ex rang the police without telling me and then he turned up to "discuss ds". The police turned up and had my parents collect both sons as ex had actually hit ds when he was younger. It went to court and ex had basically been looking for revenge ever since. I recorded the conversation with ex and ds before the police turned up as I didn't trust him. Ds clearly argued with his dad that I never hurt or strangled him and that he was just mad that I'd taken away his screen time. I handed this recording into the police who lost it, but I had copies. SS allowed me supervised access only, until an investigation had taken place. The police officer investigating then went off sick for weeks. In the end I told SS to either come up with a valid reason or let me have my children back unsupervised as it was harming all of us. They suddenly dropped the whole thing and the police told my ds he cant act like that when disciplined. Ex was spoken too also. The police said my ds had clearly been groomed by his dad to say I was an unfit mum.
I'm sorry you're going through this, the stress and worry is enormous. There is a record of her hurting her arm so it shows you weren't trying to hide it.
