DP and I seem to go through phases of arguing, and then we're ok for a bit, we just had a barny cos he put my new top in tumble dryer and shrunk it!!!! I love him dearly but worry when we argue that its a bad sign???

The answer to "is it PMT?"

Is " Just cos I have PMT doesn't mean you're NOT being a feckin twat"

Totally juvenile but very satisfying I always find!

Apparently the egg-heads say it's healthy for kids to witness their parents argue as long as it's not all the time , not violent, and they also seem them make up & be civil again after!

But in answer to your question memoo-yes we're sporadic arguers too & the "that's it I've had enough" (from me usually) has been heard more tha once.

not worth arguing with DH as his totally inconsiderate toddler tantrum behaviour that he occasionally exhibits is due to depression. arguing gets you nowhere in that situation.

he has a stomp slam doors refuse to speak i'm going to kill myself roughly once every 3 months or so.

rest of the time totally fine. when he's not depressed.

Often. Very, very often. But not about the big things on the whole, and we do make up

Elasticwoman · 19/05/2008 21:04

yes, we argue, or at least I do: he doesn't often rise to it. Sometimes in front of the children, but that's fairly rare.

Memoo I'd be pretty furious too if he ruined a new top of mine by injudicious tumbling. Especially this weather when it should be out on the line.
