I think it would be great to have a chat for this topic, but I wonder if there isn’t for safety reasons?

Anyhow not feeling strong and need a hand hold from women who understand.

Abusive ex, children together, recurring issues.

Where do you go to for support if you are like me?

I am sorry to read that you are currently in an abusive relationship OP. Do you work?

SueVivor · 04/04/2025 18:27

I’m not in an abusive relationship any more, but the abusive ex is unfortunately in and out of my life due to children.

Is co parenting court ordered?

Ways to stop him:

Organise contact through a third party
Download a co parenting app
Don't let him in the house/make sure the house is secure
Organise pick ups/drop offs in a public place

@Maitri108yes it’s court ordered but the situation now is that he broke the terms of the agreement (persistent breach) and now just wants to dictate his own terms. I don’t know where to go for help. Can’t afford legal help.

There is help out there.

You need to contact the court today if possible. Certainly Monday.

Womens Aid and Rights of Women organisation may be able to help and the latter can give some legal advice.

Are your children of an age where their views are taken into account?.
