My ex sent me an email with his phone number, I sent a text message last night but it said not delivered. I tried again and it still said not delivered. Does this mean I am blocked?

Why not just email and say you tried to text him and it wouldn't go though and then ask him what you want to ask him!

You don't need to "have each other on WhatsApp". If he has it, you can look him up on it to see if he's active. Unless he's one of the odd ones who turn their status off

I meant we don’t communicate over WhatsApp and haven’t in years. He doesn’t have anything displayed on there and neither do I mines all set to private thought most people did tbh

What does having WhatsApp set to private mean? If a person uses WhatsApp and you know their number you can send them a message, am I missing some feature I should know about?

Sounds like you are blocked - maybe he forgot to unblock you?

I sent a text message. Private just means only people who have your number/ their number can see your pics/ status/ when you are online. Anyway I will send a text one more time and then will know from then if I’m blocked.

Private settings don't stop you sending a message to anyone. If you aren't on their contact list it will come up and they have to accept it if they want you to message them. They can block the contact instantly without opening the message.
