So, I had the council guy come round today to check the home for a male presence 🤦🏼‍♀️ someone has reported me and said I was living with a partner!!! I'm bloody single and I haven't been with anyone for over a year!

I have a feeling it's my daughter's dad, I also had someone report me to the housing too a few months back for antisocial behaviour when nothing goes on here! 🤦🏼‍♀️ it's just me and my kids.

Again think that was my ex, he's going to an awful lot of trouble trying to cause me stress and I've had enough of it, they can't give me any details as it's all anonymous. I don't have proof either it's him but I just know it is. All because I'm going to court for a non mole! Like what the hell? ☹️ already feeling low don't need this.

Sorry just a rant! 😔

Going back a few years now but this has happened to me too, twice. Both times it was just a phone call, confirmed all my details, nothing more came of it. One of the times I was reported for working, at the job I’d worked at for years and working tax credits knew about. I expect they get a high volume of malicious, baseless reports.

In my case I never knew who did it, I suspected but no proof. It was hard at first but tbh I think the best and probably only revenge is to live well, don’t let the fuckers get you down. Easier to say than do for sure. But you know the truth, and so does anyone who matters.

I hope things get easier for you 💛

Under the harassment Act I'm sure there's a bit that says falsely reporting a person to authorities is harassment. You should report this to the police and say you think it's your Ex, whether they act on it or not, I don't know, probably not, but I would just say " I'm reporting it anyway, if you want to conduct an investigation into who is making these false allegations or not that's on you but it would help me in the long run should this harassment escalate"
Id also speak to social services and let them know the situation, because that could be the next step for him and it would be better for them to be aware of the potential false allegations.

Wishing you every strength

Honestly it's all draining it's one thing after another I cannot be dealing with this childish behaviour, the thing is if they thought someone lived here they could of stopped my claim and then I would of been in the shit! His daughter lives here same as another 3 children it's just not ok.

I'm going to speak to my solicitor about it, thing is because it's anonymous the person may not have given them a name. I just don't need this if honest I've already been put through enough by the guy.
