No post! What do you call him? Are you close to him?

What's not to get.
I call my stepdad by his name, I have a dad.
As far as Lottie growing up and having two people who care for her and love are concerned, he is married to my mum and they care for Lottie together. I love my stepfather so, so much and want him to be a grandfather to my daughter, not the bloke who's married to my mum.

Absolutely TC. My stepdad has only been around for 10 years, and although he is a lovely man who makes my mum very happy, he's not my dad. On the other hand, he is every bit as much a grandfather to my kids as their biological grandfathers, and has been married to my mum for their whole lives. Of course he is their grandad.

My kids have 6 grandparents and they are extremely lucky to have each and every one of them.
